Upgrade Your Badminton - The Online Seminar" targets coaches and players of every level that want to experience different approaches of coaching and training - to build techniques efficient, faster and more robust - in a way that these are working when needed: under pressure and in the right moment.

4 session with approx. 60 min presentation, 30 min practical videos and Q&A for your understanding and direct implementation into your training.

 

 

 

Because the idea is "just good training": Ideas, approaches, exercises for every level to play and compete better and more succesful. In many countries we coach and teach not "up-to-date". I will present different approaches - the best ideas from different strong Badminton nations - mixed with proven own experiences and the science behind it. PLUS Hands-on videos that have been approved in practice - so that you understand the ideas and can adapt it to your training environment. Strokes: Backhand, sticksmash, cut drop shots or cross defence - TO TEACH a good technique IS DIFFERENT THAN KNOWING how it looks or works - and esiear than most think or know. STOP repeating monoton technical training of strokes, that in the end then will not work under pressure and in the deciding moments. Learn NEW ways and through numerous videos 1:1 ideas for direct implementation for you as a coach or player.

 

Footwork: Footwork is often teached in the wrong way - and than will lead to multiple problems on court, no possibility to improve further and sometimes even injuries. Footwork is not singles techniques and it should be training to get the player in better tactical positions - especially in the deciding yellow and red zones. Each of the strong Badminton countries has their look on footwork, so lets just copy from the best - but a clever way!

 

Program Design: One predominant approach in Europe's Badminton halls is still the "technical approach" - neglecting tactical problem solving and also compromised under pressure. BUT we want the player to make the right decision at 19:19 and to execute proper footwork and stroke technique. How to build this up differently and succesful - we will look into this in part 3!
